It is in Israel,
but it's off the road for a while,
waiting for new engine and ecu.

The worst looking car I've seen in quite a while, takes a lot of effort doing that to a sprint. Looks seriously fast though

Well the car is nearly up and running and I did take it on a trailer to our local Italian Car Show. There are still lots of jobs to do but it is getting there! (and yes I am getting the rear bumper altered to get it level at the ends )

No , silver is ok as it should be different than Alfaromeo's prototypes.

Left rear wheel sticks out further than right and what looks like a different angle (camber) ... but does look mean.

It certainly does look like that from the picture, but the car is sitting at an angle on a sloping drive and the rear wings are not actually totally symetrical. I have increased the camber angle slightly from the original 164 front spec though, and on level ground the wheel angles are identical.

Looks quite nice, the silver as well. How does it drive though?

Rather than me inadvertantly "frying" the ecu or shorting out the loom, the car is going to be "looked at" by a local Alfa "Indie" so hopefully it will be fired up in the near future. I've never dealt with an ecu or injection so I think it's sensible to call in expertise.

A lot of hard work and what a result. I've come across some interesting 6C versions over the years with one of my favourites being a 33 body shell which was put onto a shortened 164 V6 12v chassis/floor pan (CLICK HERE). They also used the interior from the 164 and essentially came up with a 33 bodied 164 V6 which was very very quick. Relatively simple too (for someone with abilities in this field of course!). BTW, I would seriously look at putting a proper racing fuel cell in there Alfasixnut, for what 'could' happen...
I've attached some images of how the actual 6C was configured. A lot of information on the net these days just in case someone would like to build a replica.

Thanks for the pics V6junky - I am fascinated by the first one showing the engine bay. The left hand driveshaft is nowhere near central in the hole in the inner wing and it must have rubbed when the suspension moved.
The electrician has now started on my electrics so hopefully mine will be running soon......

Good observation! I wonder what could have caused that. I imagine this car doesn't run and is just a museum piece so it may have had an accident at some point and everything has shifted out of place.
