Nice car! What sort of paint did you use for the engine? Did you do the paint work yourself or have it done professionally?

hi Lunchcutter the engine is cob {clear over base} as is the car I'm a spray painter by trade I painted it my self at work.

thanks lunchcutter what do u drive? took ages to dicide on the colour or I knew it was't going to be red or silver again so i went with a subaru colour when I started to lay it on the panels I knew I made a good choice as the body lines went well with it.

the combination of the body colour and the style of those mags has really made the car look contemporary...the giugiaro design has not dated

I have a 1981 Giulietta, in the process of making faster and partially restoring. The car is white. Currently I am thinking of painting the rocker cover in a white VHT engine enamel, with the 'alfa romeo' done in red. The filters on the end of the quad throttle bodies will also be red, as will the brake calipers.
