Theft Warning!!!

Hi everyone, I've been at a friend's house today and am afraid to report that he had his garage broken into & some items taken.

Offence occurred some time since tuesday night, but he thinks it happened in the last 24 hours (heard noises overnight).

Taken items:

1x Giulia gearbox
3x 2-piece race wheels - 2x 7.25" wide & 1x 6.5" wide - pic below
Also the keys to his Spider are missing

Any info or leads, please PM me with information

Thanks

Assuming this occured in the Maitland region mate? Thats bad news but more troubling that someone would take something like a Giulia gearbox.

Specialist crime is the most disturbing type as it reveals that we might be giving away too much about ourselves.

I agree 100%, even more so for those living in regional areas. It would be very easy to locate a particular vehicle in a small town where theres a more relaxed attitude towards security.

Not Maitland, but a place about 15 minutes east, close to the pacific highway. Not too many Alfisti there to start with, even less with 105's, even less still with race parts. Doubtful it's a local - we're too few & far between.

They went to the trouble of going through a rear neighbour's yard, removing the fence, then taking out part of the back wall of the shed too - Doesn't sound like a quick smash & grab, sounds like they knew exactly what it was they wanted & were bent on taking it.

wow, I've heard of people going to great lengths to get whole cars but not individual and very particular car parts. Won't bother saying what's on everybody's mind.
Obviously he must be combing his mind as to who knew that he had the parts....
