ITEM: GTV6 bonnet/hood
TO SUIT: 116 series GTV
CONDITION: prefer minimal rust
REASON FOR SELLING/WANT: asthetics & engine protrusion
PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: name it
LOCATION: Sydney metro &/or regional pick up preferred

Wiz,

If you need the bonnet to give clearance for a TS conversion ............... it still won't clear

Alfetta hood clearance w/TS

got a contact that does ricer boys jap-crap CarbonFibre hoods and would be willing 2do one for a GTV6 with factory mounting points etc ...
NFI on costings yet as have yet to get a complete hood to him ,
but a slightly more pronounced lump is not out of the question as to are air intake holes

So why not simply mod your original bonnet ? The V6 bulge is high enough, just not far enough forward to clear a TS.

If you take a look at the 'Chapparal' GTV6 bonnet mods, this looks like it would do the job, and looks smoother than the factory GTV6 bulge.

I reckon you simply have the panel guy cut along the existing joggles on the 4cyl bonnet and raise the centre section to form a low and wide scoop at the front. Of course, some thought needs to go into relocating the underbonnet bracing.
