Book for sale
Guys,
I know this isn't the FOR SALE forum but thought it more appropriate to post here.
I just stumbled upon The Alfa All Alloy Twin Cam Companion by Pat Braden, on special at a local newsagent. It was too good to pass up so I went back to the shop and bought the last two copies as well, as I figured one or two of you may like to take advantage.
In the interest of full disclosure, I paid AUD$17.99 each, and figured someone else may like a copy too. So the first two of you to PM me your mailing address can have them for $20.00 each plus $10.00 postage (Australia only).
These are brand spanking new and in perfect condition save for the 1"x1" price tag on the cover. It's a lot of book for twenty bucks and a perfect companion to The AR Bible.
It even has an identical car to mine on the cover so it MUST be worth the price of admission

Do you still have the one copy left.
I'll grab it if you do.
Cheers

Thank you for keeping the book's title in people's mind and letting it's availability be known --- it was originally intended as a companion volume to the Bible and would have been matched "more perfectly" had Pat lived to see it through the final publishing stages.

All books gone guys N girls.
However, we are indeed privileged to have Mrs Braden visit our forum and pass on her kind comments. Thanks Cheryl.
BTW, the ISBN for the book is 0-8376-0275-0 through Bentley Publishers.

You're welcome.
Just as a side note, Pat's original working title for the All Alloy book that was very much intended as a companion volume to The Bible was The Apocrypha, the lost or missing books of the bible. The publisher found the title to be a stumbling block: too esoteric; deemed too cryptic, not many would understand the tie-in, too hard to spell, if you were looking for the book by title etc.

Ha ha ! The 'publisher' obviously wasn't aware that obscure or esoteric references are what keep we Alfisti going

Hi Cheryl - have to say that my well thumbed, oiled and slightly scorched 3rd hand copy of the Alfa Bible was fantastic when restoring my first 105 gtv, and upon seeing the TTCompanion for sale just as I bought my duetto, I had to grab a copy.
Think I might grab a marker and re-title it today .... Finding unexpectedly (to me at least) that another Braden book was available was really a delight - Many, Many thanks !
Beatle - glad to see you found such an amazing super ! The one we discussed that's at Milano's isn't a patch on it. If you're in the richmond area one weekend - drop in for a 'welcome to mexico' coffee
Cheers,
Scott.
