I found this site which has a few pdfs of the mods done to the Foley GTA

By my calculation that's the equivalent of 260kw per tonne. That's insane! At about 1750kg's, a Commodore would need about 450kw to run that baby down!

He had a V8 GTA too, inlet pipes sticking up through the bonnet. I think it was as close as 33 spec engine as well. Crazy man.

Same car just modified. I think it is now in Perth. Not 100 % on that. Only 2 GTAs brought to OZ

Hmmm there was the Bartlett one which I believe was LHD and white and which remained fairly stock, then Foley's which was red. I don't doubt it was the same car which later recieved the V8, but I think there have probably been more than 2 GTAs in the country. See also that Foley's car has a flushfront like a 115 Junior.

The car shown in the above posting is Foley's second car in this livery. This car was known as the 'Foley lightweight'. It was built from the ex-Mildren team RHD GTA (white) that Gardner and Bartlett drove in the late '60s, with a later nose grafted on. This car is undergoing a restoration to its correct Autodelta configuration, so all the trick, superlight tubular suspesion and stuff has long gone. It did live in Perth for many years, but is now in NSW with a friend of mine.
There are four road GTAs, two race GTAs and one GTAm in OZ. (that I know of anyway, may be more).
The car that had the T33 2.5lt V8 (an ex-Mildren Tasman engine#25.00049) was a full spec GTAm that Foley brought out for the '71 touring car season. It originally had the narrow angle, twin plug, 1985cc engine with Lucas injection. This was substituted for the T33 V8 for the '72 season. This car also went to Perth in '73. The T33 V8 is now back in the Mildren Brabham from where it came, the car recently ran at the Tasman Revival at Eastern Creek driven by Spencer Martin, finishing second to the ex-Rindt Lotus 49.
The Foley GTAm is also under restoration to its original Autodelta spec.
Vin.

Thanks Vin.
I had reason to believe the 33 engined car was a GTAm too so that clears that up. Whereabouts is the Foley GTAm now??
