South Australian Forum
Well guys I just took a look at the South Australian forum section, which they insisted on having for themselves, very few posts, not a lot of action at all. Bit like Saturday night in Adelaide really

Like any night in Adelaide. I went there for work a year or so ago, with a colleague we decided on a night on the turps.
After finding a cab (an effort in itself) he directed us to apparently the only pub that was open, which was amusing for a while until it shut.
On stumbling out of there after a number of hours, we got into another cab.
Same driver.
They might call it a city, but it's not

C'mon all those public servant fat cats spending all our money. Also there must be plenty of sleeze, where you get Pollies you get sleeze. Anyway Canberra at least Fyshwick is the capital of porn and Fireworks sales. That's got to be a fun combination in anyones books.

Dude, your obvioulsy not mixing with the right people. Canberra rocks. What are your interests - what do you want to do. Even the chicks are better looking in CBR versus ADL.

What is this? Why do you guys find it necessary to bash Adelaide? You obviously know nothing about it. This city is rocking like you wouldn't believe at the moment. We have just had the Clipsal with over 200,000 people in attendance, the Adelaide Fringe is under way, Womeadelaide started this weekend and it is also the Adelaide cup. All of these are huge events and Adelaide can do them better than anywhere. On Sunday we are holding our Alfas in Clover show and shine on the beautiful Semaphore foreshore. At Easter we are holding the Alfesta which sold out weeks ago and has a waiting list. On top of this Autumn in Adelaide is as close to perfect weather as you can get anywhere in the world. How many times has Melbourne won the Grand Prix of the year by the way? Adelaide won it every year it ran the event. Our pubs are open just as long as anywhere else. Adelaide is also a great place to own an Alfa. We have the best spare parts dealers and Alfa mechanics in Australia. We have over 200 members in our club and climbing.
I think it is a little rude to come on the SA forum and bash our town. I wouldn't bash Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney in a public forum. Every city has its good and bad points. Sorry, but this sort of thing annoys me, it is so unecessary and doesn't reflect well on those who are making the comments. I am disappointed.

Where not on the SA forum, we are on the Australian forum so what's the issue ? Don't worry the SA forum is still "convict" free.
We are just amused by the apparent sleepness of your town because the several times I have been there it was dead as. Also you have the slowest traffic lights in Christendom, what's all that about ?? I guess I am somewhat amused by the place, nostalgic perhaps it reminds of Brisbane in the 70's.
ps. Also don't you think it's time you ( I mean all of Adelaide when I say this) let go of the whole Grand Prix thing ? It's gone.

I think it's an Aussie thing to bash other cities. It's part of our in-built insecurity!
