I was thinking of taking it to Berlina as hats very close to me. Id like to know if any of the board members have had personal dealings with them. I value customer service. I want my alfa treated like it was a member of the family if you know what i mean

Funny you ask that as i used to work there several years ago for a brief stint
They certainly are capable of quality work, they do many vintage Ferraris and there is always a 105 in the shop. All i can suggest is pay them a visit, talk to George or his son Enzo.
Have a look around the shop and check out the work. Be very specific about what sort of job you want, sky is the limit, professional bodywork is very expensive stuff. $20,000 isnt uncommon for a proper body resto on a somewhat rusty 105.
Enzo is an interesting character but he is very skilled, im not sure if he still does much of the work on the cars anymore its been years since ive seen him.
Best to take a day off work, talk to the several shops with your BS meter set to high, ask lots of questions and see how you feel about them. A Google search will also bring up personal comments about shops on other auto forums if you dig around a bit.
