All Italian Car Day - Perth
Another blazing sunny day in Perth for the annual All Italian Car Day! A huge turnout of both cars and visitors, just fantastic. Because I've seen a lot of the Alfas at other events I got carried away with the other marques - Ferrari were out in force, girls and all (though of course the most beautiful girl is the model featured with the red Lancia (my 3 year-old) ). Plenty of Fiats and beautiful Masers of all ages. TWO of only three F40s in Australia, and TWO of only three Giulietta Spiders in Australia. WA's sun seems to suit red paint-jobs.

Nice shots. Is that a proper rhd GTA Stradale? Would love to see more pics of that one, I doubt that many remain like that.

Sorry, I don't have any more pics of that car, but I think it belongs to BBer Andrew M, who organised this excellent event (props, Andrew!). You might be able to ask him about it.

Those spiders? One was a Giulietta, the other is a Giulia. Are you sure about thos figures of only three in Australia as I've seen more than three at the same time in a particular workshop in Sydney. They are still beautiful non the less.
There's something about the new 4 door Maser's that is so cool. I love 'em
Cheers

Adam, if I could have any new car I think it would be a Quattroporte. And I think I need to say that I hate the new Alfa Spider/Brera whatever it is, more than any other Alfa ever.
An NSU Ro80 though, jeez i'd love one. A rotary that isn't a Mazda, built like an old skool Mercedes and styled with verve. A real car.

I never could figure out that Giulietta/Giulia thing . The three in Aus figure came from a placard on one of the cars, I could have mistaken the context. The more the merrier I say, 'cos I want one!

Except it'll eat your wallet and heart faster than either a Mazda or a Mercedes
My first thought upon seeing those pics is.. "what the hell... we're meant to be the aus city with 'little italy', and look what those sandgropers have come up with."..... 2 F40s? Lancias..... lancias... mmm Im really going through a Lancia phase. Giulietta spiders?? Man... I havent even seen a 750/101 series car in the flesh. I think I need to move states. Looks like a great event. I think the owners of cool cars in melbourne take themselves too seriously and never come out, thats if they do exist.

BTW, I hated the 599 when it first came out, but that is a hot hot hot car in black. Gorgeous. Love the old school rear on it too with the single light look. Hot car.

The Bouncy Castle
Was a great day, spent most of it waiting for my young Bloke to get off the Bouncy Castle, I took a couple of shots, I don't know whose cars they are, but have removed the rego plates, if it is your car and you don't want it here please let me know.
Regards
Nick
