Exclamation Parts for sale ...

... okay I need some money so time to sell a few parts. These parts are located in Sydney Australia.
  • A pair of 45 Dellorto downdraft carbs for a Alfa Sud engine, plus ported manifolds and air cleaners, including velocity stacks. These are jetted for a full race 1600cc engine.
    I'll take AUD$500.
  • A Tilton twin plate ceramic clutch and custom (light) steel flywheel that was made and run on an Alfa Sud engine. The flywheel has the starter gear teeth machined into it and will correctly engage a Sud starter. The clutch centre will not currently fit an Alfa Sud gearbox as the Alfa Sud engine mated to a Ford close ratio gearbox. I imagine you could get this changed by a clutch shop. This is a serious non-street clutch with solid discs and no springs, and bloody fantastic on the track. Saves seconds a lap due to no slip at all and enabling extremely fast gear changes. Rated for 300hp.
I'll take AUD$500 for the clutch and flywheel assembly.
  • Fibre-glass boot lid for a 105 series. Complete and looks like a steel one, with proper double skin, etc. Has threaded inserts ready for bolting on. Never been used.
    I'm asking AUD$500, but negotiable .

PM me if interested. I will add photos soon.

Thanks
Pete

... Carbs. First two photos.

Clutch. First of all I've made a mistake. It is not a Tilton but a Quarter Master. Still brilliant. Note the flywheel. This would work on any Sud I believe.

Photos 2 ...

... the fibreglass boot lid. It is perfect. The paint has just flaked in a few places. I actually do not believe (but have no proof of this, other than the 15 years I've had it in storage) it has ever been used.

Hi PSK
1) Just a question about the boot lid, is it lighter than the steel lid (My experience with fibre glass is that it can be quite heavy)
2) Do you have a matching bonnet ?

It could do but it would require changing the centre splines of the clutch discs (they are a for a Ford gearbox currently) ... and also it would make a horrible street clutch as note there are no springs in the clutch plates, thus it's either in or out. Which is very good on the track.

Now if your 1.7 is a track car then it is worth considering and the flywheel would line up with the Alfa starter, etc. but some checking would have to be done for the position of the clutch discs. Maybe I should take some measurements and do a drawing (I used to be a draughtsman) so that you could measure your arrangment and see if it would work.

I will try to do this and weigh the boot lid this weekend.
Pete

Boot lid weight

Okay by our home scales the boot lid weighs 2 kg's.

I weighted it by weighing myself and then weighing myself again holding the boot lid, so reasonably accurate. Thus it is light.
