iv got a sud comming soon should there be any interest. its just been painted in acrylic red with a stright body, interior i think was shot [havent seen it for a few months], it still runs fine.
im getting it from dads friend, and he painted it so im sure he'll tell me where any rust is if any. i only remember one 50cent size bit under the back bumper. still not sure wether to keep it or not... we've already got 11 cars on our property... ill decide after i go over it i guess

Is the bidding price the amount you have to pay, or the amount the seller will pay you to take it?

There's a really clean 75 TS for sale at MC wholesale in Upper Ferntree Gully. 1989 I think. Sunroof, red, 5 spoke CSA alloys, lowered, factory bodykit, aftermarket stereo, good interior. Very clean and straight. From memory the only rust I could see was around the back 'screen but then again it has the bodykit so you never know. Sticker in the window says $6500 with RWC I think, but a friend of mine was looking at it and thinks they'll probably take $5000 without RWC and rego.

Scott.

Swap Spider for 164

I don't know whether anybody would be interested, but I've got a 1975 alfa spider 2000 (aussie delivered) in fair condition that is of little use to me any more. Looking to straight swap it with a relatively clean 164. At a guess I think the spider is probably worth about $7500. Located in northern NSW but happy to travel to Sydney or Brisbane. Photos and details on request.

Swapped for a 164. Good gracious what have I done??

There is a nice one for sale in QLD. It is owned by Peter Wherett the motoring writer. It is a nice original well maintained car, he has got it down to $8000 ono.
http://www.aroca-qld.com/classifieds.html

I talked to him a while ago and he is pretty keen to sell it.

My guess for price is up to $3K - a rusty banger
$3K - $6K a rough driver
$6K - nicer examples
Very hard to gauge though as they dont come on the market anywhere near as much as the coupes.

Derek,

Thanks for the reply.
I am an old Alfa fan, having owned a Super about 25 years ago.
Unfortunately it was T boned by, of all things, a Morris 1100.
Suddenly, recently and for no apparent reason, the love for the Giulia was rekindled.
So I want one.
Rogern.

Hmmm Peter Wherett's super, that should be a well cared for car. Wish I'd known about that before I bought the Berlina.

Problem: Don't have room in the garage for another car.
Solution: www.realestate.com.au

I was just about to post that curious motor on here myself, as I just found it too! If I was in Sydney, i'd go and buy it to use as an ornament! The manifolds remind me of the one's on Jano engines. Is it basically a farm or machinery implement driver? Interesting curio - BBer must buy it. Who will it be?
