I just had a thought today about this $50K Giulia Sprint.
It probably is a bit ludicrous. The 105 series car to realise the highest price in Australia (at auction, at least) was a GTC, fully restored to concours spec and it changed hands for AU$55000.
And that's at auction. It was at least as nice as that $50K Sprint, but it had the added kudos of being much, much rarer.
And I was luck enough to drive it

I believe Richard was asking around 45 for his red gtv. Couldn't tell you what it went for but I wouldn't imagine he'd have let it go for much less...

Once there are more reports of coupes changing hands for $40K+ we can take $50K asking prices a bit more seriously, till then...
Its nice to think that they might be nibbling at the heels of early 911s soon. Perhaps?
At last, our cars are seeing prices that justify they're status above that of mere British scrap-metal.

Besides the rarity of the GTC I have never seen the appeal, in my mind the 105 Bertone was never meant to be a Drop head, it ruins the all so stunning lines. Pass.

There was one that sat in a side street in Paddington for about 6 years in the 80's on the street. I remember a mate of mine approached the guy to buy it once and was told no in so many words. I would rather have a Montreal instead for my money.

Yeah, I'll have one of those too! Now there is an affordable classic muscle car. Does the one in Albion ever go out of the showroom? Is it for sale?

Right there with you! Haha, you can make the V8 outside Aussie, but you can't get an Aussie out of a V8 (given half a chance)!

I'm surprised Ben (italiansedanman) isnt on the next plane to collect this one, given his recent penchant for Montreals and anything cheap in need of restoration

This seems to back for sale at $3k, where it originally started Take a look at the Club Ads on the AROCA Victoria website.
There is a 2600 Sprint on the same site at $7500. Interested ? Ben ?????
