short notice luke, but if it comes down to public transport i'll be more than happy to chauffeur you in! i'll pm you my number, and give us a call if you want a lift. we both know even an average old alfetta is much better transport than supporting those connex rats!

FOR SALE, Alfa 90 workshop manual. (Does not cover engine or gearbox).

so... its come and gone...
what did you think, if you went,?
weather worked out for the better, dispite looking daugnting...
shame about the 'hoon' incident, but what happened to the particular person was completely justified, and fair to everyone else. a good reputaion is a hard thing to keep up in a car club.
i didnt see any 33's or 75's at the announcements, didnt they run a class for them or were they mixed amongst others?
i got alot of pictures, and if i get around to resizing them ill post them up, otherwise ill do it at work [home, dial-up and work, broadband].

What happened to the hoon? I presume you're talking about the guy in the 75, who took off fish tailing twice?

i dont want to name and shame the fella, as im sure everyone has done it before [i know i have], it was just the wrong time and place for it.
australia is really having trouble with car clubs and the hoon reputation that is almost instantly labled upon us [innocent or not]. the person was asked to leave, which in my eyes was fair to everyone there...
if anyone else wants to add to that, thats up to them.

I saw the incident in question, and the club's response sounds fair to me.
Definitely the wrong place and time for that sort of driving. It's one thing to give the throttle a little stab as you take off, which many do, but the car in question was fishtailing. There is no doubt if the police had seen it he would have been pulled over for hoon driving.
The car in question took off twice in that manner, so I'm guessing the second time was after being asked to leave?

They're yours, currently taking up room in the boot of the 164.
