Cheap Alfetta Bits
Greetings BBer's,
I have a couple of Alfetta bits that need to go, otherwise they'll be sent to the scrap metal merchant as I'll be moving shortly:
-stripped/dipped/protected Alfetta sedan doors, bonnet, bootlid and front valance panel. Cost me $1500 to have these cleaned up for my resto which never happened. I'll take $50 the lot.
-Alfetta 2L head with stock cams (no cam cover). looks like a fine head $25
-aircon compressor and custom bracket. This is a later Japanese compressor to replace the crappy York model fitted to most Alfetta's. The bracket mounts to the head as per the standard set up. Just needs some rubber bushes. Powder coated and ready to go. $40
-Alfetta transaxle (no brakes attached, previous owner told me it has an LSD, but I don't think so) $25
-3x stock Alfetta rims FREE
I really don't want to throw this stuff out! Surely someone will find it useful?
I am in Adelaide, prefer pickup, but can arrange freight if you are really keen.

G'day Ben. Why is all the Alfa stuff in either Adelaide or Melbourne? I'd be interested in the head, but I'm in Sydney. If you're interested in getting rid of it I'll take it off your hands, shipping at my expense of course. But if you'd rather wait and see if someone local wants it, I'll understand (shipping hassles and all that). Either way, let me know.
Cheers, Rick.

Very keen to get doors etc - but not sure on practicality of freight to Brisbane. I've left you a PM. Let me know.

Ok guys, I *must* get rid of this stuff this week.
I would prefer not to have to pack the doors/panels, however I can keep them outside my workshop (under a carport, but not indoors) for another week or two to give someone time to make their own arrangements for pickup.
I can ship the head, aircon compressors and bracket, and transaxle. A specialised courier for the transaxle will be required as its well over 20kg.
Let me know.

Thanks for all the enquiries everyone - the bits are now spoken for. Just glad that someone has taken those cleaned up panels because it would have been a real waste to have sent them to the recycler.
