Hidden antenna recommendation needed

I am restoring a 1970 BMW CS, and want to delete the external antenna. This is a car I have owned for 19 years - I had a motor-operated antenna in the LF fender, but want to clean things up aestheticly. The car has a Becker Europa II which looks great, and works OK.

Antenna technology has evolved over the almost two decades I have owned this car. While the motorized antenna was state of the art back in 1989, it seems kind of funky today. No "wires in the glass" windshields are available for this model, and anyhow, I already have good glass. Unfortunately, I live in an area with weak radio signals.

I have seen ads for passive antennas that install under dash or in the trunk, and have also seen electronic boxes that sit up on the dash. Do any of these things work, and if so, which do you recommend?

I'd try investigating what Toyota has done, unless it's the wires in the glass, because I've driven with my dad in his Camry, and it gets good reception everywhere.

Other than that, I'd maybe try making my own.

Blaupunkt makes a cool antenna that you can mount anywhere, just a small box similar to a satellite antenna. I have been wanting one but never got one yet.

A great solution for radio antenna reception with stealth. This internal antenna works from inside the car, it can be positioned under the dash or on the front windshield where it will be barely visible.

It is a perfect for those who want a totally clean shaved look to the car. You will be able to remove your antenna base on the roof or fender completely.

The kit comes with everything you need to install and it works with all stereo radio receivers with FM cable hookup. Made in Germany by Blaupunkt, best quality!
I can get this item from Germany for you, takes about 1-2 weeks.

or glass antenna similar to the old days:
Blaupunkt Autofun stick-on (internal) glass in car DAB digital radio antenna

Hidden antenna.....

Here's what I did on my GTV,
Mounted under the pass. rocker panel, it's almost unfindable !!
It is a part from an old Toyota, which normally mounted along the 'A' pillar, driver's side.
