Audio and virgins

Most likely I'll get banned for life for phrasing it this way, but damn, I love virgins so couldn't resist being the first one on the block to post (if you'll pardon the expression) on this newly minted one.

Simon, honest, I'm just harking back to my childhood whereas a freshly poured sidewalk was far too tempting to pass up. Thanks much for adding the Audio Forum.

As it is...I'm having a ton of troubles hooking up a ton of audio equipment in a '69 Spider's trunk. Other than needing to bypass my trick switch which (theoretically) sends power to the trunk's equipment and, additionally, nothing comes out of the four speakers even with power on, I'm quite certain it can all be resolved quickly - with your help.

One thing come to mind. There is a remote wire that has to be powered to make the system come alive . Simple power on will not do it. If your special switch is just "power on" you will wait forever. Power on is from the ignition generally hot with key in. Your special switch should be the remote power on. I think it internally (the amp) connects all up to run. Your special switch should just jump your power lug at the amp across your special switch and end on the "remote" lug of the amp. Hope this helps.
By the way...What have you done to sound proof your spider? -robert
