anyone heard of morel speakers?

No, not until today. I've hardly paid attention to after market speakers since I built the interior in the van I had the first summer home from college way back in the 70's. At that time, the Jensen Tri-axail 6x9's were the hot setup. I had 8 of them along with 4 50-watt amps, not much by todays standards, but back then it was unheard of.

great speakers!
but, it really comes down to setup of the 'sound stage' in a car... the one set i have heard, set up with care and not just placed in the original spots, had over 100hours setup put into just the front splits, for the perfect sound stage, and it was amazing! ****ty R31 skyline though...

i guess, if your not looking for a Sound Quality setup [housings/pods for tweeter and woofer, good quality amps etc], i wouldnt spend so much.

what are you aiming for?

just looking to replace the 4" speakers with 5.25" in the doors.
