Following is a re-cap of the article about the "Concours at Malibu" as it appears in our current issue of Alfacionada.

Feb 27th., overlooking the Pacific Ocean from the Malibu Campus of Pepperdine University.
A variety of Classes will be judged, including Open, Closed and Daily Driver Alfas. We will also have judging of AROSC members non-Alfa class, Best Italian and Race Prepared. We expect to also be viewing and possibly judging our friends from the Foothill DeTomaso Club and depending on turnout we may have a class for etceterini.
As last year, picnic presentations will also be judged in 3 classes - Molto Alfa, Migliore Italiano and Beach Theme.

Pepperdine is located at Pacific Coast Hwy and Malibu Canyon Road. North up PCH from LA, South from Camarillo or exit the 101 at Malibu Canyon / Las Virgenes Road and head west over the canyon. Stop at the Malibu Canyon entrance booth for directions to the Concours site (or follow the oil - just kidding). The gates open at 8 for competitors and judging will start at 10. Awards will be presented by noon and the event will conclude by 2PM.

Update

As of 5:30 this AM Pacific Coast Hwy is OPEN. It is retricted to one lane in each direction between Topanga Canyon and Big Rock. If you are coming North or South on 101 Kanan Rd is open to PCH (then left to Pepperdine at the intersection of Malibu Canyon). Currently Malibu Canyon and Decker Canyon are closed and Topanga Canyon is only open to residents. Information is being updated at 1-310-506-ROAD.
Current options are:
PCH direct.
(from the South or Southeast) 405 to Sunset then West to PCH.
101 to Kanan Road then West to PCH, South to Pepperdine.

If this was a road rallye I would suggest 101 to Malibu Canyon (which closes at Piuma) a glance at the Thomas guide, make a left onto Piuma over the spine of the Santa Monica Mountains and down Los Flores to PCH (above Big Rock) then right turn to Pepperdine. These roads, slightly muddy with lots of little fallen rocks were open as of yesterday.

The Village Coffee Roaster, host of a monthly Eurocar day (www.villagecoffeeroaster.com) has donated a gift basket which will be awarded to Best of Show.
