FS 1967 Duetto round tail.What`s it worth??

I don`t have the time or patience to own this car. I have agreed to buy this 1967 Duetto off a friend in Nrthern CA. It has been in strage for about 10 years. He is a mechanic who is rebuilding the motor for me.
The car needs a new top & tires. The paint is red & faded but very straight, the interior is pretty good too. The car is original & complete.

I`m not sure what it is worth or how collectable/desirable they are. I don`t know much about them at all.
I will be picking it up next month.

Is $6-7K out of the question for this car?

Brett,

Sounds like a good price. I don't know what you might do with the car if you don't have time for it. Your not getting a steal if thats what you asking. It really depends on the overall condition and how original it still is. Rust could be a huge problem coming from N. Cal. Tranny good? interior good? Dash alone is over $500.00. Bottom line is I doubt you'll lose money, but I don't see you making much either.
