Alfas and Valentine’s Day Brunch at Camp Pendelton Officer’s Club
Dave Mericle, Sr is a well-respected Alfista from down in Leucadia. Dave sends us this message: His son, Dave the Junior, has been a part of AROSC.
Howdy all - I've made brunch reservations for 20-25 people at the Camp Pendleton Officer’s club on Sunday the 13th of February (Valentines Day celebrated). They may be able to take more folks and would like a week’s notice of the number. Cost is $18.65, which includes gratuity. I have also made arrangements with security so we’ll be able to get on base with a minimum of fuss.
Basically I identify myself at the gate and all Alfas behind me drive slowly through. I need to give them,
(1) Times
(2) Ingress and egress gates
(3) Route and
(4) Number of Alfas and people.
I'd like to meet and get organized at my home in Leucadia (just west of I-5) and proceed up the coast to the main gate. On base, the route will be up the west side of the base to San Onofre and then down through the center of the base, past Lake O'Neil and further south to the Officer's Club near the San Luis Gate.
