Sorry you had to leave this morning. I agree the Chinese dinner upset my stomach too.
And too bad you missed out. Kas brought out his old GTP Nissan and the novice TT group got to drive it! What a blast, I never got my Alfetta over 150 MPH before. That Nissan relaly moves.
...
Oh, what??? Sorry must have been the bone chilling cold at the track today froze my brain.

Never mind the part about the GTP car. But is was COLD today.
Glad to see a couple of the BB group out there.
The parking lot Time Trial at Fontana in March is gonna be a fun time. Short course, with lower speeds than the big tracks. Lots of time to work on your technique.
See you next time.

Oh yea. I had a great time. I want to thank the Alfa Club and all the instructors who took their time to teach us. I had a wonderful time. I definitely learned what my car was capable of. I will try to come out for the Novice TT next time. Sorry I also did not bring a camera. If someone has pictures that would be great.

yes it was really fun. I had never done anything like that before so i wasnt as good as the other drivers. I hoped to see some more 164's there but i was the only one. Nonetheless, i cant wait till the next school, where i wont go offroading.

I had a BLAST too, and I should have a pic or two - will check and post when I get back home (travelling at the moment).

My verde feels really good on the track (stock except for lowered) - better than I expected. Hit 3rd on the straight and the down-hill sweeper, downshifting to 2nd right before the chikane. Other than that it was 2nd the rest of the way, close to the rev limiter at points, but without actually hitting it.

This was great, and a big thank you to the instructors. I will try to get out to Fontana in March if my schedule allows it.

ooooH! bring your Q! itd be a treat for me. Id like to see any pictures you have because the ones i took are reeeeallly bad and not worth posting. I wasnt able to get up to third gear in my 164 (i have a grind in 3rd so it takes a while to ease it in). i just kept it right up against the rev limiter.

Any one else go who has pics?

Ok, this is the only picture I got - from before the activities started Saturday morning - not very interesting...
