Yeah, that Riverside event with snow was before Paul had GLASSES....

(I guess a "9" might look like a "6" from YOUR point of view, PAUL!)...
Defroster? Isn't that what the towel is for????

See you guys up there. Going to go look to see if I still have any Rain-X.
San Diego is very drizzly at the moment but no bad winds. The Scripps Weather
guys say the winds may come up (but, they are usually wrong) (darn those
climate models)...

Real bummer the severe winter weather preempted the Alfa Big Willow weekend. Is there any chance a replacement Alfa Big Willow weekend might be added to the schedule?
Regards,
Mike

Well, I just got home from a rather tense 5 hr drive to Rancho Cucamonga (RC) and back on the I-15. When I got to RC, the radio news was talking snow all over the place, I-5 closed, Cajon Pass open but under police escort only, and the 58 from Bakersfield closed. After talking with track management at Willow plus a few other Comp Board members, we decided to cancel the event.

Thanks to Bill Carson for getting this posted while I was stuck on the freeway. Also thanks to everyone who helped call the entrants to let them know. At this point I think we have reached everyone except for people in the 805 area code (we can't seem to get calls through to there) plus a couple people for whom we haven't been able to locate viable phone numbers.

Full refunds will be sent to anyone whose check we deposited; any checks we have on hand will be destroyed.

We are working with the track to see if there is anything we can do to organize a makeup date for this event. I'll post any progress we make in this area once I know what's going to happen.

Good call guys, sometimes we gotta think about it and remind ourselves we're just doing this for fun. Please let us know when this race will be rescheduled so we can hype it up here on the BB. There was a big thread about this event on the Porsche message board, I've been keeping them up to date about the event.
