1 - The next General Meeting - Nov. 19th, is election night. All (paid up ) members will be receiving ballot forms in the mail for the upcoming Board of Directors elections - write-ins are acceptable. An almost sure way to be nominated is not to show up for the meeting (re:Bill Carson), or be nominated by your significant other so they can have one night a month to themselves (re: Jon Pike). Actually a position on the BoD changes you from a volunteer to a volunteer selector .
2 - This upcoming General Meeting is also our annual and usually humorous "White Turkey Sale". Turn the cr*p, uh, spare parts in your garage that you don't need to cash so that you can purchase cr*p, uh, spare parts that you really need .
3 - We have our annual planning and event scheduling meeting on Sun. Dec. 12th and we'd love to hear some of your (legal) ideas. You can post here, email or, if you're a paid up member, attend the BoD meeting and eat leftovers from the Xmas party being held on the 11th.
