Spring Tour in the Desert

We decided to go to this AROSC meeting and outing in the Joshua tree National Park Saturday 12. we were tomld that there would be a nice picnic and that there would be a picnic contest.
We loved the idea but how to you bring table, chairs, chinaware, glasses, table cloth, food, wine and what not in a Spider if you realluy want to winn the contest.
My wife Betty had so much stuff to bring that I had to find a solution to bring all she wanted to make sure to impress everybody.
Look at the picture below so you see our solution. It might help some of you, Spider owners, for next picnic contest.

By the way we did not win. our son and daughter in law did !

Hi Spiderweb,

We drove through Palm Springs it is gorgeous. Our first time there. We want to go back ASAP (we are from Europe and new in this neck of the woods - California that is)

We had a fun outings.

Hi everyone,

It was a real pleasure for both of us, Betty and I participating to this event.
We were told that thre was a "picnic contest".
?y wife wanted absolutely to participate and win, of course.
By the time she got everything ready for the picnic and the contest we would have needed at least 6 or 7 Spiders to fit it all in !
And we were coming only with one Spider, of course.
So i had to find quickly a solution for this : bring the Spider AND the picnic stuff.
