15 minutes of fame. The writer, Martin Zimmerman, seemed to have done some research and new his stuff. I, with a certain prejudice of course, would have preferred to see the article end on a more promising note, but as our own (AROSC's) professional Automotive Photojournalist Paul Dexler once told me - there is no bad publicity.

The photographer wanted to shoot on a canyon road with little civilization about, so I dampened his pants with a quick shoot up Santa Suzanna Pass.

Norm, Great article! Timing is a funny thing. My younger brother and his twin plug R Gruppe 911 S is featured in this months (May) European Car Magazine.
This came out yesterday about Alfa.

According to the newspaper, BMW is a good fit because it already has
production facilities in the U.S., in Tennessee.
Also, MF wrote, BMW produces sporty cars similar to Alfa Romeos, which could
lead to significant production synergies.
