Driving School Nov 12-13

No, let’s not call it “School”. We will call it
“Driver Test and Tune”
2 days
at the Streets for $295 for both days, Sat only for $175
.

How does this sound:
you and your car at the Streets; in a groups of about 15; equal time between skid pad, the Streets short track and classroom; several Instructors for your group instructing, watching and commenting. Alternating between each session gives you a chance to hear instruction, then go out and try it, then return to the classroom to discuss what you need to adjust, then repeat till you get it right. What we teach you on the skid pad will make HUGE improvements in your lap times at the big tracks.

We see postings on TrackHQ.com asking for comments on your video, why not be the one making the comments rather than asking the questions? Comments on when you were having the same problem but the school was able to help fix it for the track.

We have groups for all levels:
Street Performance - beginners with street cars, no 5 pt harness required. Great for first timers who want to get some High Performance training. Drivers who are unsure of what the car is capable of and what you are capable of.

Time Trial and Advanced Time Trial – your track/street car and more performance oriented program. Teaching you the skills to get the last 10th out of both you and your car. This is a good time to work on that one little thing to help with that last 10th.

Race – your race prepared car with lead follow passing, side to side in corners, passing in the "grey area", more starts than NASCAR does in the entire year , the real deal. Then a bonus at the end of the weekend we have a student vs instructor race.

Registration is open on Motorsportreg. Sign up as soon as you can, so we can get accurate counts for our instructor base.

Stolen Mopars and Driving School

“Drive it like you stole it”
Well, you should read this first.
HELLIONS FIND HELLCAT'S HIDDEN ANTI-THEFT DEVICE: HORSEPOWER
NOVEMBER 7, 2016

A group of teenagers apparently drove over 200 miles to St. Peters, Missouri, from Kansas City, MO, to steal Dodge Charger and Challenger Hellcats. While the teens did successfully steal the cars, and drive them away, they didn't apparently have enough car control skills to avoid immediately crashing the 707-hp muscle cars. According to a statement by police, the thieves didn't even make it a mile away from the dealership before totaling two of the high-performance Mopars and damaging another.
Three of the four teens were arrested -- one of whom is only 16 years old and will be tried as a juvenile. The others, 17 and 19, will be tried as adults. We imagine the thieves' lack of driving experience helped in the pursuit.
It just goes to show that if you're going to steal high-performance cars, you might want to know how to actually drive them.

Alfa Club of So Cal High Performance Driving School, Nov 12-13
at The Streets of Willow Springs.

Our records show that none of these delinquents attended one of our High Performance Driving Schools. Had they spent 2 days with their car, their helmet and given the Alfa Club few dollars, these unfortunate collisions would never have happened.
The above article was lifted from Jalopnik, in no way do they endorse Alfa Club or their events. Though they would probably be better drivers if they would attend one of our High Performance Driving Schools. AROSC-HPD Home Page

Hi! I was the guy in the Datsun 2000 that showed up out of the blue. Really appreciate you guys helping get me on the track for an amazing day of driving. My morning drive from LA started with a plan to go to Red Rock Canyon, but ended with a very memorable and exciting day at the track. Cheers.

I thought I saw a Datsun

And a very nice car it is.
I was teaching in another group. I looked out to see what the Street Performance people were doing and there was this verrrrry nice looking Datsun driving around the skid pad with the other cars.
Well done sir.

Is there an AROC driver school coming up early 2017 ?
Can't find it anywhere, and see there's been a February school at Streets in the past.

School Schedule 2017

Sorry, the only School we have scheduled for 2017 is in November. Nothing in the first part of the year.
We are having a Competition Board Meeting this weekend and School is one of the agenda items.
Stay tuned. We will keep you people updated.
