Anthony,
Please email me a price list when you get a chance.
What ring and pinion ratios do you offer?
What are the features of the short block?

I can get you any ring and pinion for both 1600 or 2 liter rear ends. 4.10, 4.56, 4.78, 5.12, 5.37 are the more common ones you will see on Alfa's.
The short block is a really nice piece. It comes with drilled oil passages, forged pistons, lightweight rods, treated crank, steel main caps, and the lower timing chain is removed and replaced with a really nice gear driven system. I have some pictures of the parts up on the site.
I will be sure to send you an update once pricing is up. You should come to the shop on Saturday if you can. We will be having representatives come from Japan to present the product. I took delivery of a short block for my car last week, I'll have it on a stand for people to look at.

I'll include that in my notes of questions to ask them. I'll email you once I find out. Any particular ratio in mind?

Hey Anthony,
Wow, that's really some nice equipment on the web site! Can't wait to see the prices when they get posted.
Good luck on Saturday and let us know how the short block works out, especially with the oil pump change.

No kidding, that is some pretty cutting edge looking stuff they sell. I've not heard of OS-Giken. I know they are Japan based. Have they been making Alfa stuff for long?

You'll get to see the product first hand at the convention in Seattle. The owner of OS Giken is an Alfisti and he's using cutting edge modern technology to make superior drive train and engine components for old cars.
By the way, I've been told they have an 80% share of the Japanese market for their product catagories. If you go out to the track at Irwindale, the majority of the Rice Rockets have the OS decals on.
I think we'll call our OS equipped cars Risotto Rockets . We were part of had 4 podiums in the last month. 2 firsts and a 1 -2 finish.

Still trying to digest everything. One heck of a great tech session.
One of the top secrets revealed to those assembled was the technology and machine skills going into our future Alfa block rebuilds . No doubt about the companies obsession with reductions of weight and inertia while improving durability and the skill they use to get there.
Haven't gotten the results from Portland this weekend, but since Alfa's with our (adjustable lock) LSD's have been running, they haven't lost a race.
Anybody at the convention in Seattle is welcome to come by the vendor tables and play touchy - feely. We'll also have a cutaway model of the LSD on display.
If you're going to be at the Concorso Italiano, look for the set up at Italspeed's booth.

The event was awesome. Over 30 people were in attendance. We made some sales and have a whole bunch more on order.
Please look for our booth at the convention as well as Concorso Italiano. Norm and bb member Fred Shuddekopp (justcallmefred) will be our reps and the convention. Norm and I will be in the Italspeed booth with the product at the concorso.

Everytime I click on the website all I get is a "desktop Default" with no content (except a few +'s for a picture and a phone number. What's up??
Edit Note: Internet explorer seems to work OK. Give your web writer LOTS of gas for coding only for the worst browser - especially for such a simple website. Tiy Safari or Firefox or Mozilla. IE is the source of spam, trojans, worms, and much of the other xxrap on the internet. Just use some standard HTML at least, instead of the IE cheap tricks and shortcuts.

Hi Anthony,
Could you contact me, regarding '69 Duetto - Spica conversion. We were in touch last week when I think you answered my ad, "LA mechanic wanted" I had a virus and lost all my emails! I just hope this is the right Anthony!
