AROSC Time Trialer Winning at LeMans! Move over Danica!

Hey! One of our own AROSC time trailers is currently leading the LMP2 class at LeMans! Liz Halliday from Rancho Santa Fe has a three-lap lead at the 6 1/2 hour mark in the Intersport Lola! Liz was a regular at our events up until about 2001, when she went pro. She won her last time trial with us in 2001 at Willow -Class P- in a Datsun 510 (1:42.5), beating regulars Tony Presto and Terry Watson.

Her bio on the ALMS site says she started with AROSC and SCCA in 1996.

I see that her lead had evaporated, too.

She'd be an AWESOME insructor at one of our schools. She lives in the UK, but she sent me this:

I would be happy to instruct at Willow some time in the winter when I am home, although I don't spend much time out ther these days. Best to contact me in Dec. with dates and we can try to work something out!
