looking for history on a 1987 Milano Gold

Hello,

I have found a Milano Gold that I am interested in that is being sold by a local Alfa Mechanic. He says the previous owner was a president of the Southern Cal Alfa club and I'm wondering if anyone at the club would recognize the vehicle.

it is a Silver Milano with light grey cloth interior. Stock wheels, new exhaust. Nardi Leather steering wheel. 163,000 miles on the clock. It supposedly came to the mechanic in need of a new head. (timing belt snap.)

very clean overall and a 10 disc cd changer in the trunk. Carfax shows that it lived in CA all its life.

Can anyone tell me about this car and its history? It runs well overall. (AC works, it has a sloppy shifter and grinding 2nd gear, but solid overall.)

I'm a little concerned about the high miles and would like some feedback if anyone knows this car.
