Hmmm. The new PIR calendar also lists Thursday, July 16. I figured that was the track day slated to coincide with "our" big national convention. I can say that right since I'm a member, even if I don't own an Alfa.
Link ==> PIR's listing for the July Alfa event...
Is that going to happen? I also have the *other* question in to you regarding non-Alfas at that track day event.
Also: Are you guys going to try to do something out in Grass Valley? ORPCA apparently is alreadly listing several weekend events out there.

Hi Neil:
Just sent you an e-mail.
Reason for asking: I just got a job whoose company HQ is in Beaverton. Figuring I'd be spending some time there training, meetings) I could participate in some of your local events.
I am a AONE (Alfa Owners of New England) Director. Also, I am a racing instructor for COM ( COM Sports Car Club) and I was the Chief Instructor for the AROC Convention in New England (back in 2004 in Manchester, NH). Are you guys in need of instructors?

Is 18 October 2009 Still on The Boards at PIR?
Is fall track day still on the AROO scheduled events?

Don't trust what motorsportreg.com lists as registered participants. I believe the list of names depends on the setup by the organizing club/sponsor (in this case AROO). We usually can't see an entire list until we actually register.
It's on my radar, but my attendance depends on:
* weather
* whether or not I can pay at the gate (I think that depends on how full the event is prior to the day)
* whether or not I attend the week-previous Team Continental event (then no)
* weather
I need to ping Tami again on the question of day-of-event registration/payment. I've done it in the past, but it's not a sure thing.
Car is good to go though. Damn, it's expensive keeping the thing in track-ready condition when you're not especially good with a wrench.
--------------------
As it turns out, due to weather projections, I'm heading down this weekend for the Team Continental event instead of the AROO event. Love me my Alfa friends, but loves the dry track even more.
