event info

It's been a few years since i've attended the hillclimb. When does the event actually start on Saturday, May 3? We're trying to decide whether it's a very early drive Saturday or late drive Friday with an overnight.

Thanks and let's hope this lousy upper midwest weather is through by then.

Saturdays registration and tech check starts at 7:30 am and the driver's meeting is at 9:15, versus Friday's registration at 5:00-7:00 pm. I know I'm going to be driving down real early Saturday, but it will be a fun drive. Hopefully we'll have decent weather. I almost couldn't get home today with all the flash floods here in Green Bay...

new glarus

Thanks for the info. We have snow on the ground this morning...with pretty lousy temps expected for the better part of next week. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Happy to help ;-) Not to get too off topic, but what is the helmet situation. I believe we have to wear a Snell-2005 approved helmet. Do we have some available or should I buy one?

helmet

Last time i attended i was able to borrow a helmet. I now have my own, so there's at least one you can borrow...again, if the weather cooperates.

Well, thank you very much for the offer! I've been needing to invest in one.... but funds dictate when.

Here is a the few I took without being too redundant to what has already been posted. I was going to stop running and take more but when I got back from what was going to be my last run the event was cut short due to rain! It was an excellent time. Thanks to everyone who helped out and mad it possible!

Once again, my most sincere thanks to those who continue to make this a superb event. The rain made no difference in my enjoyment of the festivities, After 6 years, I was finally able to attend the Saturday night dinner to experience what I had been told so many times was not to be missed. Most of all, I truly enjoy listening to the stories related by the attendees. The stories told, the lies told and accepted, and the general comaradarie(sic) are what make this event so important in my schedule. Don

SFaikel, Great shots.

Great photos. I particularly like the morning shot of the Duetto, the SM and the 356 as I also have a Duetto in addition to the SM and the 356. Would you email me that Jpeg so I could print it off? Thanks, Dave Brenny
