This is great guys! Thanks. The Club needs something like this. I sure hope some of the AROC BoD start lurking here.

I agree with you Bruce and Brian. Let's get some productive AROC discussion going here.

I know of at least two to four others, not counting bs that are regular lurkers, but may not post often; and one recently resigned one who lurks and posts.

So they are paying attention, even if in the background.

And before someone asks, I'm not going to list them.....

Cheryl -
Are you calling bs a "regular lurker"? I've seen a LOT of posts from him, though I cannot remark about the about of fiber in his diet. (Most of his posts are pretty full of fiber though.)

Gordy:

Forgive me, my brain is on auto-pilot, a side effect of not feeling well over a long period of time.

You know I thought about that sentence as I wrote it. I was trying to exclude bs from the statement but yet acknowledge that he has a presence on the board without indicating anything about whether he posts, lurks, stirs up trouble etc. (And yes, Brian that's my lame attempt at humor, this evening.) So restated I know of 2 to 4 who lurk plus Brian who does whatever he does. Part of that exclusion was based on the fact that Brian has come and gone off the board, but started making his presence known again and more or less became a regular when he was nominated for the board.

On fiber in bs' diet, I have no clue, you must know him better than I do.

Brewster's here

Thanks very much for adding this section! I hope it will be useful and much-used. I'm another AROC board member who greatly appreciates the forums the BB is providing and its outstanding role in keeping Alfa people connected, sharing the information that keeps our cars roadworthy, and providing a forum to buy and sell cars. In fact just this week I traded a 164L for a 1981 Spider because of an ad I placed in the for sale section.

As a BB user I am glad to promote its value to others.

I know a lot of AROC members and potential members are out there reading the BB too. Whether here or through direct e-mail to Thackeray@aroc-usa.org, I look forward to assisting Alfisti and connecting them with the Club in any way useful.

Best regards,
Brewster Thackeray

Wow, Brewster! Don't you like anything besides Spiders? Nice car, by the way.

Oh, and thanks for all your work with the club!

I knew Brewster was here - I think I might have even PMed him. His cars, while nice, are awaaaaay over on the other coast - and my next ALFA needs to be a sedan (preferably white and >30 years old) You see I have a green Spider, a red coupe, and need a white sedan to make the flag complete.
I've seen Arno pop in for a word or two. I think it's great that the bb recognizes the value of AROC and that AROC recognizes the value of the bb.
And those potential members Brewster mentions......let's reel them in

I'm not a BoD, but I'm glad there's another sub-forum for me to lurk in

I have it on good authority that the AROC-USA Technical Librarian lurks here. Does that count¿ Is this post on topic?

I guess I'm one of the "lurkers" as this is my first posting, but I've been an advocate of AROC & ALFA BB getting together for quite awhile.
