THCC Fall 2010 Tour

What a perfect day. With 20 old and new classics, some 30 cars total, perfect weather, some fast sweeping and scenic routes, and great burgers, beer and friendship at the end. Who wanted it to end. Of note - Pinyo had her coming out party here in THCC!! Thanks John and Kim for an epic day. A few snaps to start this off.

Two Clips

Ok, I couldn't resist, two short video clips. One upon leaving the burger place.

Sorry I didn't go to look at the Bat Cave Peter, the three Modelo's were kicking in by then and I had a food coma from that burger above. The trip was so nice I plan on doing it again soon and will see the bat cave and perhaps some music nearby for a full day.

"Coma inducing burger" is a perfect description!

don't rush...there was not a whole lot to see....I guess it's just like Congress Bridge in Austin....there's nothing to see until a million or so bats emerge at sunset

Thanks, I'll scratch that one unless I'm sitting at the bar next door at sunset.

I thought you went to see the Batmobile, or maybe Catwoman lurking around in that tight leather outfit . . .

Truly this was the best driving weekend I have had since I have owned the car. Thanks to anfanuts for providing me the info on this tour I am so glad I made the trip. It was worth getting up at 3:45a.m. to drive over. The combination of the weather and company and route was awsome. I am only sorry my son was not able to go. He made me save the map so we could go ourselves at a later point. I must say it was serindipitis to have ended up at that cafe as I was 20 min. from my brothers house. I went and spent the night in Boerne and was able to see my nephew and neice who celebrated her 4 th birthday this weekend. The pics just do not do justice to how wonderfull it was on sat. Thanks to all who posted their pics. I did just over 600 miles on this trip now have only 400 to go to get 10,000 miles on the car since purchsed last Nov.

JK, where was that, on your UK trip???

Neo dude, I'm glad you followed through and came. These are always interesting, sometimes downright hard, but this was more on the fun side. Keep posted for other upcoming local events. B

PS: we took close to 100 shots. I imagine Kim took lots of great shots also with that nice rig of theirs. How can we get a few of the best of John/Kim??
