I spy with my little eye....
I figured cuz this is the NE forum, and i see the occasional alfa in NE, i should connect the two. Basicly if you see an Alfa you dont reconize post here. Maybe a time and place to see if it was a BBer!? Or if it was sweet enough someone could disclose where its parked at night( ) So post your sightings here!!!
My sighting has been a cute little red spider. Wish i knew the year but its only been going the other way when i have seen her. Up route 16 above Rochester NH and across the Dover NH ice arena. Anyones? Know if its someones?

Funny you started this thread. I decided this morning to take my little Black Quad Spider to work. On my way to lunch, with the top down, a green 164 passed me on Manchoag Rd. in Northbridge/Sutton/Whitinsville, MA.
Tried to wave but I forgot I had the side windows up. (Ouch!)
Been a good year for Alfa sightings. 2 Series 4 Spiders. (One parked at Diamond Hill Shopping mall in Woonsocket, RI and one near Moonstone Beach in RI, both red.) A red 3 series in Hyannis, Ma and a white GTV6 with Vermont plates on RT. 4 heading up to 95 into Providence, RI. All of these were during late summer.
All the driven cars but the GTV6, the drivers waved. (GTV6 just passed me.)
Also, the New York office hired a guy that Drives a GTV6.
Good to see them Alfas
Go Sox
Dave

The guy who is one of the owners of the D&D deli on Franklin Ave in Hartford has, (or had) a 164. (My wife is from Wethersfield, a suburb of Hartford)

Spied spiders
Although I have passed my red 92 164L to my daughter who is in Baltimore, I have seen spiders in the Windsor, CT area on my way to work at ADVO. Oddly, I have actually seen someone else at the company with a red spider. Mine is a 92 and his from the 80s. They are still out there running strong.

It's funny how you meet the "Alfa Crowd". I was closing on a mortgage at a local lawyer's office, at an office building. There was an '88 Spider in the parking lot. I asked the receptionist if she knew who's Spider it was. She said "Mine!" I told her about my '84, then the attorney came out and said he had a Milano, and listed all the other Alfas he's owned over the years. Then he ticked off all the other curent Alfa owners in town. There were a lot more of us around than I realized.
Are there any BB members from around the Attleboro area out there???

Fairfield county, CT sightings
When I'm scooting around the Darien/Stamford/Norwalk/New Canaan area I often see various Alfa's around.
For about a week I ran into a group of 3 guys at Darien starbucks, one older and two around the same age, who asked me about my milano and the spider I was also driving at the time. One of them said he had a silver verde with 20k original. I haven't seen them since but I wish I could see them + verde sometime.
I also spotted an 80s spider quad around there as well.
In Beantown Ma i often see a silver 164 around the Harvard sq. area.

Soooooo.... I'm coming home from my sister-in-law's house in Plymouth Mass, about 6:15 - 6:30 PM Chrtismas Night (Saturday). I'm in the Honda Accord loaded with kids and a half ton of toys. I go through the Bourne Rotary and get onto Rt 25 (before it becomes 495) North bound. I'm doing 70 in the middle lane listening to my family snore. A few mile up the road, this black Milano blows by me in the right lane and dissapears into the night! Cool..... Who are you 6 cylinder stranger? Gosh darnit, Now I want an Alfa with a real roof!!

While returning home to MA from visiting family for the holidays, I was zipping thru Burlington, CT on Route 4 at about 11:30AM on Xmas morning and passed a dark green Giulia Super zipping in the opposite direction. I was driving my Mini Cooper S, an Alfa-like experience, and nearly waved to him, but caught myself just in time...

I 'm probably the Moonstone Beach RI Alfa sighting--Millie and I were down there several times this summer. We like to hike at the Trustom Pond wildlife preserve and stop by Daddy's Bread. Used to live right up the road from there.
