How many Alfas would you say attended, Mike?

The past few years, only a paltry few would show up - I counted 3 or 4 a two or three years ago.

At least 15-18 post war Alfas, and probably 5 pre war cars. Many very nice and special.

Alfa was the featured euro marque this year.

Corvette was the featured US marque.

I don't think I got any photos of a corvette. I guess that reflects what I'm interested in.

Is that your dark blue SS on display? I know of a very similar car (with missing bumpers) here in Santa Cruz.

WHEN is this Porsche patrol car ever used? I remember them showcasing a Boxster when it first came out. It seems like a waste of taxpayer's money to me.

I don't see any lights or radio gear, so it's probably only used for special occasions, And, I doubt the state paid for the car. I suspect it was seized in a drug raid, a DUI, or something like that.

Hi Guys.. It does have lights .. I think its a promo tool for them and the Dealers. It has the plates ect I checked all that out. If we the people paid for it ... Now you have a little idea what thay do with all our $$$$s. ( Outrage)
I do wish we lived in a world where these where are cruzers. The problem I have is if pulled over thay would not ket me out of my car to check it out.
Thay do have some Fast patrol cars for the Desert. I know thay had Supercharged Fords years ago and a Lambo too for the desert. The Lambo is still around with a plate that was something like CHPRETIRED. It too used to patrol the desert.
The Hwy patrol always has loved Hotrods From big block Mopars to hotrod fords to Z28s.

Running of the Bulls on Hwy 5 in Aug thay better be where now.

I don't know... couldn't they use 3 crown vics to corral Burt Reynolds in the desert? With a Porsche/Lambo, I'd think the officer would be afraid to crash the vehicle during a chase and be the laughing stock back at the donut shop! He'd probably just tail the bad guy and call in the Crown Vics to do the dirty work anyway.

Hi Patrick. I hear ya! The Cops i spoak with said there way to much car for people.. Thay never push them to there limits he said. But I bet there are who have or could in there department.. I was somewhat disapionted in his statements. Thay love driving them but dont use all the power. Who needs all the power he said.. He has a M.Benz he bought his wife its so fast he said . I asked what he though of the limiting ESP on the Benz. He never trird to switch it off. He has never even tried to see how its gets it on out of the hole. How can that be.. well on the with show crew.
