Italiancarguy,
I like Azzuri GTV's Idea. You COuld do a red car and the stripe would be green with a green pinstripe on each side of the main stripe... BUT!!!! On each side of the Pinstripes there would be a small section of white in order to better seperate, or highlight, the green from the red. ie... the green would not touch the red.

I'd like to stay away from the Italian flag...Jake Grubb's GTV is paint like that...I want DIFFERENT. I like Gifford's idea of yellow with red nose..so far, that's option 2.

Black w/ White stripe
Alright... how about this then... Only with a white stripe like you described?????? Looks good in black.
Dang! Have an image of a REALLY nice looking all Glossy Black GTV w/out bumpers but I guess the File size is too large for the BB.?.? Would look great with a white stripe on it. Nice Contrast with the Chrome Grill and head light liners, and makes the front end look very menacing.

Yeah... But it still looks Goooood! And... if you look at all the pictures in the BB gallery of what appers to be Western Region racing, there is not even one Black GTV. Just put'n out ideas... Look into it Anthony... it's pretty sweet looking... especially with the white triangle encasing the quadrifolio on each side of the car. You could even ad some suttle green pinstriping towards the outer edges of the Main white stripe.?.?

How about something unusual, like a black body with a dark silver roof, hood, and trunk lid?...or a red body with a yellow roof, hood, and trunk lid?

Someone in AROSC has a gulf colored GTV plus, I think that scheme belongs on Porsche's and GT40's.

1. Paint it White, all white inside out.
2. Find a sponsor that gives you silly amounts of money and then make a theme around their logo, print it on foil and cover the whole car.
Done and done.
I'd like to have my 10% fee now.

How about making the left side of the car red and the right side yellow? But make the demarcation line diagonal, like from the right front of the car over the hood, roof and trunk to the left rear.
To make it really cool, put the Santos logo on one side of the car, and your Alfa Stuff logo on the other. Sort of a version of the BAR F1 team car of a few years ago that had Lucky Strike sponsorship on one side and 555 sponsorship on the other.
Hey, it has been a long day...

That's a cool idea!
I forgot to mention, I plan on selling the car after a year so, I wanna keep the "team colors" (red and yellow) to ourselves. I am gonna build it, sort it out, and get some wins, then unload it. So if any of you want a nice race car, start saving your money, she'll be for sale.

White Racer
I found this, in all paces in my Alumni magazine. It belongs to an Ed McDonough. I don't know him (He graduated 18 years before me)

Think about the GT40 pattern with a black or dark blue body and a Marlboro maroon stripe.
