I'm new to the boards and thought I'd introduce myself. I purchased my first Alfa in March and I'm working to get it where it needs to be. My background is in old Datsuns: 280ZXs and a 510 that's still in the works. I've never really worked with carbs or points, so I'll be coming here often for tuning. See you all on the boards!
You'll find that most people here like photos. For help with that, take a look at the 'testing area'. You can experiment uploading photos and posting in there.
Enjoy!

These pictures were taken my first day with the car. The exhaust had leaks, so everything from the flex-pipe back was replaced with a new stock system. All of the black junk on the back was in the wax, but after some elbow grease, it came right out. You can see the body damage on the left-rear and may be able to see a little bit of rust causing the paint to bubble around some of the windows. All of that will be taken care of while I'm out of the loop for a few weeks. The interior is pretty good, but the carpet and seat covers will be redone within the next two years. I can't find the shot I had of the engine, but the weirdest thing for me is that the cam cover vent that's supposed to go to the airbox runs all the way to the back of the cam cover and down to a bottle (filled with dirty oil) which subsequently seems to dump underneath the car. That's not the only thing, but I'll keep looking. I love decifering the results of other people's inginuity... including the old 25A fuse in the 6A slot that melts your center console when the cigarette lighter decides to short out.
