ALFA Romeo Road Map
I was reading HeavyMetalAlfa's thread with interest and a thought occurred to me. Why don't we put together something of a road map with special points of interest related to ALFA's. We live all over and each is a specialist within their own region. We could map out salvage yards, parts shops, repair shops, club chapters and even good roads to ride or avoid. What do you guys think?

It's a great idea!
If you are an AROC member you can get a directory of everyone in
the country that offers parts, service, coffee & company or whatever!
While we aren't really on the way anywhere, any Alfa is welcome!

I'll have to look into joining. I wasn't aware that such resources were available to AROC members. I will search some threads. Unfortunately, the only thread I have read to date concerning the AROC group had to do with new members not being told that they have local resources as well as national membership.

I am a member of an online group dedicated to the GMC Motorhomes. We have the "Black List", which is a listing of members all across the country who volunteer their 'services'. The idea being that no matter where in the country you travel, their is a friend nearby. Not everyone offers the same services, it just depends what you need. Some offer a place to park your RV for the night while others have special tools or mechanical skills to help you get back on the road. Like our Alfas, the GMC coaches are getting old and not all of the parts are in stock at every parts store.
You can google "GMC Black List" to learn more.
So who can get this thing going?

Hey I love this idea especially for someone like me who wants one but has no idea who could service it in Philadelphia.

Arden et al
If you join AROC with a Verde membership, you receive a members listing which shows what each of us has offered in the way of help to other Alfisti -
Garage, Bed, Coffee and Conversation, etc. Might be worth the price of a Verde membership, especially if you're planning on driving your Alfa out of your local area.

As mentioned, it has already been done by the AROC-USA, which has about 3800 members. The directory lists all names, addresses, and level of support that each member is willing to provide. (This varies from coffee and conversation to overnight stays and help fixing your Alfa.)

Even if you join at the most basic level, you can still get the directory. (You will have to pay a little extra for it, but it's available.)
Best regards,

Mo,
Did you do all that? Are these real cars and people or have you just made them up? This is really cool!

I bit...
I clicked on the Washington marker and found a rear-view of my friend Tess' yellow Spider parked in her driveway, with her commendts in Swedish. I don't know where it came from, but Tess is the only Alfisti I know in the Seattle area with both a yellow Spider and a command of Swedish. (As far as I know she is absent from the bb.)
Makes a fella say "Hmmmmmmm......"

Nope, If I remember, this was put together by someone who frequents the Alfa Digest (Hence Tess's car)
