Smile Videomaker magazine

Hi
I am a subscriber to Videomaker magazine and their e-newsletter
What a surprise to me to see the very beginning this "video lesson", it is flattering and unusual.
Copy this link and look for a few seconds.

Videomaker Presents Player - Episode 107 - Segment 1

Since the link seems to want to DL the movie god-awful slow and I can't pull more than 9mb a second, can you mabe describe what it is to look at/for as opposed to having folks wait for some indeterminate amount of time or filesize?

Thats cool. I had a similar find when visiting the Film Score Monthly forum with this Italian Police Movie CD.

To Tifosi,
This video "teaching" clip is about video filming from a car. it is a girl giving the lesson.
And in the beginning she arrives in a black 1985 (or so) Alfa Spider. It is quite neat. although afterward she says that a big car or PU truck is better for filming.

The funny part is I am just about working on the possibility of filming from my Spider (for club or BB outings). I have the equipment to film from my minivan but haven't tried yet with this Spider (and my big camera - no probs with my small camera).

Now that's an idea to start a thread dedicated to (our) Alfa's in various media.
Why not ?

This makes me think back a few years, when a friend and I tried out some drive & film methods with his Alfa Romeo 147 GTA ...

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wKbMXLW3sdQ&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wKbMXLW3sdQ&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

No offense meant towards japanese (I just cut the soundtrack from a DVD)

@ usatrade:

Thanks for the infobit. Makes life much easier than waiting indefinitely.

In regard to filming while on the go, somone needs to throw some dosh at msiert to hook his camaera up again and do something artsy with it (hey, if he can catch a rear main seal leak on 'film' while out on the road, then the possibilites should be pretty broad )

To per,

Good and fun stuff.
I see you have the same cams as I have (Sony) and the same problem. The small cam outside and the large one inside.
But my problem now is filming from my Spider !
