Angry auto shipping

My spider is finally on the way home. I bought a spider on ebay and set up shipping on the 3rd with interstate auto shipping with an estimated pickup date on the 10-12th. Well, they never picked up the car. I called the company up about every 3 days after the estimated pick up dates and all they could ever tell me is that it will be soon. I finally canceled my order on the 20th and set up shipping with american auto movers which picked up my car 2 days later with no extra charge. Should I or can I dispute the deposit I had to give to interstate auto moving with my credit card company? Does "estimated pick up date" mean anything? Their was nothing stoping Interstate Auto Movers from making me wait another month to a year. Am I wrong in thinking that this is an unfair priactice and should file a complaint with the BBB to warn others? opinions?

Did you complain to interstate to ask for your deposit back? I would do that first, then of that is not successful pursue other means (inluding disputing with your card). It does not sound like they did anything to earn the money.

Yep, I complained about it and all they did was to email me the agreement which doesn't mention anything about time frames.

Don't mess with the transporter. Just deal with your credit card company. Let them know how the transport company left you hanging.

This is good advice, and has worked for me before...

Best regards,
