Smile Anyone around Thousand Oaks CA 91360

Hi everyone,

Is there one or more Alfa Romeo owners in the Thousand Oaks area ?
Thousand Oaks CA 91360

I need my engine cleaned, (I am new in the area) and i do not know if there is anyplace around here that would clean an engine.

I tried to post this request on Craigs list but it got flagged down (probably by someone overecolo ! ! !)

Thanks

See you in Malibu next WE

Claude

clarify the meaning of "clean"

do you mean "detail my engine compartment" ??
or, "clean the engine block and head that i have removed from the car, so i can rebuild it" ?

there is the local Alfa mechanic, Bruno, who lives near the intersection of Moorpark rd and Avenida de los Arboles. he used to have a shop on Thousand Oaks Blvd, but i think there was not enough Alfa business to afford it. after that, he was, and still might be, working out of his home backyard shop. he regularly trolls the neighborhoods looking for old cars that he can buy or help the owner fix. if you're lucky, you can find his phone number in the phone book. if not, i can give you directions to his place.

Also, there is Santo's Italian Car Service in Northridge. thats really not too far away. the father of Anthony Rimicci (one of the AlfaBB moderators, aka Italcarguy) owns and runs the shop. Santo's Italian Car Service

Good morning,

thanks for the info. would this gentleman be the person who lives on Los arboles between Sirius St and Moorpark Ave, on the left when going toward the DMV ? There was for the longest time in front of the house a Lincoln Continental MKIV or V and recently, but for a short while a GTV Junior 1300 green ?
Thanks again.
just with "Bruno" I cannot find his phone number

i bicycle by his place all the time, and the selection of cars is always evolving. last place before the shopping center (heading towards the DMV), on the corner. sounds like you have it right.

i just pulled out the yellow pages, and he is listed as Bruno S Exotic Car Repair. 805-379-0103

p.s. - its Moorpark Road, not Ave.
