No fair Alex
I knew that...but the sun came out today and all the snow melted in Seattle so I had to mow the lawn for the first time of the year.
What I want to know is why haven't I seen any April Fools' pranks on the bb?
(or was this it?) because of course this was a trick question - there being four brothers, after all
well, six, if you count Alfa Romeo and Carmelo!!

I think so, I know Groucho, and thats all I remember off the top of my head. I can do ventriloquism (though not well) and was about to buy a $30 Groucho Marx dummy, when I remembered how badly I was scammed on some $100 bagpipes.

That said....
If 'Gummo' qualifies in that sense, what about 'Shoe-ey'?
Oh, maybe I'm on the wrong thread - I should be asking on the F1 thread.
(Some current drivers definitely qualify as 'Grouche-Oh', and where does Max fit in?

What about the oft-forgotten and shunned brother - Homo? Or what about their cousin - Karl? And what about their other cousin from Arkansas - Skid?

Well, phooey... there were four Marx brothers?. Jerry only showed three so any other correct name gets the beer. Wait, if there are four brothers, and I already listed Groucho and Harpo how come there are three more names submitted? (Zeppo, Gummo and Chico). Which are the correct two additional brothers?

George,
I don't want to hijack this great thread, but here are some real details about the Marx brothers:
Born in New York City, the Marx Brothers were the sons of Jewish immigrants from Germany. Their mother, Minnie Schönberg, was from Dornum in East Frisia, and their father Simon Marrix (whose name was changed to Sam Marx, and who was nicknamed "Frenchy") was a native of Alsace, now a part of France, and worked as a tailor. The family lived in the then-poor Yorkville section of New York City's Upper East Side, between the Irish, German and Italian Quarters.
The brothers were:
1. Manfred (no stage name), born-1886, died-1886 (died in infancy)
2. Leonard (Chico), born-1887, died-1961 at age 74
3. Adolph (Harpo) (he was called Arthur by family after 1911), born-1888, died-1964 at age 75
4. Julius Henry (Groucho), born-1890, died-1977 at age 86
5. Milton (Gummo), born-1892, died-1977 at age 84
6. Herbert (Zeppo), born-1901, died-1979 at age 78
Of these, Chico, Harpo and Groucho were the Vaudeville and film comedians. Gummo left the group to serve in World War I and never came back to the stage afterwards. Zeppo was perhaps funniest of the brothers off-stage, but had a great voice and look, so he became the 'straight-man' on-stage.
I hope that helps.

Nobody mentioned mud wrestling, except you, Cheryl.
Finally, I would never suggest to an artist what s/he should or should not include in art. I think the people Jerry listed would make an "interesting" team (??) of "bull" ropers.

Gordy,
My apologies, actually it was your last line inference of where pigs wrestle that brought me to "mud wrestling" which had been posted on another thread by one who participates often in the double meaning banter and it was directed at me to which I posted the response indicated. Possibly, you missed it. It was not my intent to hijack the thread only to add clarity to the way I perceived what I believed you intended as "double meaning" based on the other threads.
Some days you can not win for losing....some want me less narrow focused and global, I won't mention names, and when I'm global those want me narrow focused only on the specific thread and not the bb in general.
Sorry.

Huh? Wait! Don't answer that!
Anyway, as the one who was referred to above, I can only say that 'wrestling with pigs' was the actual reference and it really has nothing to do with either pigs, mud or wrestling...it's just an illustrative reference.
Please no more hijacking! I want to see more of Jerry's art instead!
