Sorry.... , its the bigger size we made, a friend did it to make some decals. if we strech it, it may appears shame.

Kind of a loaded question here Jes, but I don't imagine that you have received your gearbox yet...? Any new promises from Andrew Garcia that seem more promising than the last ones? It's been 6 weeks since this 1-2 week promise and 5 weeks since you posted this!

I'm getting a bit nervous now since I have it on good authority that Garcia Alfa Racing is shutting down!

BTW - I hear that Customer # 3 in my original list finally received his 24 valve 164 from them. Andrew's partner - Mike - had to bat clean-up for Andrew and put the whole car back together and sort it for him (or it would never have gotten done!) I hear from a/the customer that Andrew just walked away from it completely!

Well, do I ever feel a little vindicated in all of this, or what....!?

So, it is important to understand - now that the jury is truly in on Andrew Garcia and his scaly dealings - that all I ever wanted to do was warn people about this guy after I got burned - NOT burn him more - as suggested! (He does that pretty well on his own.) I can honestly say - I told you so! This thread was ALWAYS about that warning folks and here we have it!

Without disclosing any details on Andrew's ousting from Vick Autosport (by his own financial partner), suffice it to say that it was less than amicable! The guy is a ****ing scumbag and this comes back to my initial caveat to everybody that I could reach (after he screwed Dawie and I on the gearboxes and other parts!) Let's not forget that in his vehement post to his own defense, he made a very explicit commitment to Jes (and to others here), that he would fix it!

Jes himself posted on 11/20/07 - stating that he had spoken to Andrew personally the week before and that Andrew had promised that shipping of Jes' (prepaid) gearbox was eminent! It's been 5 months - STILL NO GEARBOX FOR JES (or a repair for Colin!)

That aside now - he has just about screwed Robert Vick out of a beautifully cash-flowing, positive little venture down there in Texas. As stated before, Robert Vick is a VERY nice, honorable, honest and hardworking guy who treated me very well during the week that I was out there last year. I honestly believe that he had nothing but the best of intentions and he gave Andrew Garcia a sweetheart opportunity!

Leave it to Andrew to bollocks it all up! Robert's staff had to be rounded up after a virtual walk-out over Andrew and his dealings. There are talks of coffers misappropriated, parts inventory raided over a weekend, unpaid vendor bills and maxed-out lines of credit - all thanks to Andrew Garcia! Fortunately Robert Vick has personally stepped back in, guaranteed credit, and has started making pay-downs himself!

Like I said, the man is solid and so is Vick Autosport (now that Andrew Garcia is out of the picture!) It may take some time for them to recover financially, but now would be the time to support that business like never before please! www.vickauto.com

Please Stop Using The Bb As Your Complaint Board!

Look, I know you are upset Jungle-Justice. However, this is not really the appropriate place to vent and make accusations in my opinion. You and Andrew sound like you have the kind of disagreement which should either be worked out like two gentlemen, or you two should have lawyers and take this to a court of law for settlement.

Once things are sorted-out, then it would certainly be appropriate to let us know how it all worked-out...satisfactorily or not.

I do not like to get in the middle of a fight, but I happen to like the BB and most of its users. I believe that it is a dis-service to AlfaBB users (and very un-Alfista) to attack folks on a public Bulletin Board like this one.

JJ, Is their web site (Vick's) still working? I need a few things and thought I would support them (Mr. Vick) this time around. No offense to IAP or Centerline who are great people, very helpful and deliver on time, everytime.

I have used Vick several times since this thread began without a hitch, and will continue to do so.
