SoCal fires and hard starting

Having driven to Phoenix on Oct. 17th and having spent the week there and in Las Vegas when the fires started I deceided to leave my 164S in AZ and fly back yesterday. I've been driving my L for the last day and have noticed upon startup my car needs a longer crack to turn over. Not too excessive but noticable. Thank goodness I have a good clean factory paper filter and will put in another as soon as these fires calm down. I'm sure the smoke and heat and particles are doing their fair share to clogged up my intake so I'd suggest that anyone who is down this way check their filters.
