From So Cal, we're trying to talk someone into flying out, but not much luck, yet.

Sorry, but I think the national Alfa club is a joke, where certain members of the board get to do what they want with other people's money.

The whole family is going this year; me, my BW and the puppy. Guess that rules out taking the bike.....again.
Hey Dr.,
Just a thought here. If you don't like the way the Club is being run, attend the board meeting and make some suggestions on what you think needs to be changed. Or better yet; run for office and make changes from the inside.

It's too close by for me not to attend...
Only a two hour ride. Won't have an Alfa done at the time but I'll be there. I may even join the club.
See you all there.

This year's too far for me, but I'll see all of you next year in my back yard!

My Response:
Been there; done that....both with the national and So.Cal clubs. So did Pat Braden, Gary Patitz, Dave Mericle, and others. It did NO good...in fact the year in which Pat Braden was elected to the board, half the other members of the board didn't even know who he was, in spite of 40 years of contributing to "Alfadom"!

We could potentially go, but we are leaning to not going. Our dance (race) card is full, as is our family's to-do-list. It's a 4-5 day trek for us out west one way. Not that we can't do it, but the time investment is a bit much given the number of vacation days I have left this year
We will be on that drive up to Seattle next year, though.
