Eurotrip '07

Hi all.

My cousin Lars and I are travelling to England this summer (leaving on either the 27th or 28th of June) from Denmark...

We will be travelling across Germany, Holland and via Belgium and France across the channel before getting to our destination point, the village of Lymn, which is situated in Warrington, between Liverpool and Manchester.

We will be travelling in my gorgeus little Alfasud, pictures at my Flickr account here...

Does anyone have any ideas as to what we should see on the trip???

And just as important, I would be very happy if I could get some contacts for 'Sud enthusiast or experts, just in case something goes wrong

Finally, if anyone has travel advice (which roads to take, etc.), they are more than welcome!

Well, I have to admit that time isn't on our side

The trip to England will get driven in one (or possibly two) stretch(es), but on the return trip, we'd like to get to see some of Normandy (think beaches..!), hopefully Paris and most definitely Amsterdam.

How about the French countryside?
And England, any nice roads/areas?

Finally, if we can avoid the Autobahn on some of the stretches (we're not likely to fully exploit the speed limit anyway in my Alfa!), which roads should we choose?
