My feathers are not ruffled. My last statement was sincere. I am sorry if it is seen as sarcastic and confrontational.

I'm believing Papajam's car will turn up. There's a scripture from the Bible I quote regularly, when I've something that has become lost, misplaced, and even stolen... and I have a great story about a stolen wedding ring, which miraculously appeared at the foot of my bed, after it had been stolen months before! True story.
Anyway, it goes like this, "There is nothing covered that shall not be revealed, neither anything hid which shall not be manifest." I've confessed this, and ask others reading this thread to repeat the phrase out loud, and believe that Jim's and Jaci's car will be found and returned to them.
I'm excitedly anticipating hearing the good news each day I go to the office, and check this post.

faster-gtv man that's a sensitive issue here, and you're not helping. An unfortunate thing arrived , no one is to blame. We're all buddies here ,i'm sure a solution will come to this.

I wonder how the former owner of the ring feels about you having it now.
I've been hoping for a good resolution to this stolen car dilema, Seems unlikely that the car would show up again without being detected as stolen.
Good Luck to all.

Ish -Man i to am a firm beleiver in prayer. i have seen miracles that doctors can't explain i will be repeating Mark 4:22 in hopes that the car is found and returned to its rightful owner. here is the GWT translation i really like it, very close to yours
"There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. There is nothing kept secret that will not come to light."

A friend of mine recently loosed her child in a pet store. She turned around, heard a terrible crash, and then the dreaded catchphrase: "Uh oh, made a mess!" There was $65 Siamese Fighting Fish lying in the middle of a shattered bowl, gasping its last.
What does this have to do with a stolen car? Think about it.

More then 6 months ago, a " friend " of mine, sent his German made ALFA
( clear cross country) to a reputable body shoppe, for rockers & such , and was anticipating a wonderfully repaired & painted collectable, to be returned by NOW. in time for him to restore the innards & and roll on over to this years AROC convention , in Michigan.
He had not heard any UPDATES, for over a month , when suddenly the phone call came, YER BABYS GONE........S T O L E N.
. no terrible crash , no uto, made a mess, just a call...
WELL, Im sure someone in the fish shoppe scooped up the fish & they were saved...
as of this post,,,NOONE has said a peep AS to what has happened to his ALFA, Or the trailer,,,, or the other part that was inside the trailer....
alot of folk were (are) devestated by this.
thanx , Peace.

This thread is a lesson in humanity.
The only thing we agree on is that it is not very nice to have your car stolen. We all feel for Papajam.
However, the comments on this thread are priceless.
We have had:
- GI types wanting to lower the culprit into a chipper, or cutting their hands off,
- kangaroo courts that have tried and convicted everyone involved (without knowing any of the facts)
- strange religious fanactics, just totally freaking me out
- others comparing the loss of a car to the loss of a person.
As they say, only in America. God I love the internet. Some of the BB need to get out more.
By the way, do we have any good news?

Brilliant post
And yes always hoping for good news ... heck even if the only the chassis numbers are relocated we can do a "Ferrari" type restoration ...
