Where does your profile name come from?
There are many interesting nicknames on the bb, many are obvious but many are not!
Mine is pretty straight forward... several Alfas from the 60's and up had a Gold CloverLeaf emblem.
What is the story behind your nickname?

Alfa2go because when I signed up I had just bought my Sprint GT restoration project and it was a hopeful statement that it will go one day!
Now that I have my Super and a parts car, it is still a hopeful statement that even though I have three cars listed in my signature, two of them go(drive)
I have thought of much more imaginative nicknames since then, but couldnt be bothered getting an administrator to change it! This should be a cool thread.

Vintage Prep cause I used to own a vintage race and restoration shop of the same name. Felix refers to the last race Alfa I built in 1994 (search Felix) which became somewhat well known.

Two liter lover
Self Evident. Really should be OLD two liter lover because I refer to the 1958 to 1962 two liter (as compoared to 2000 which is continuation of 1600 to 1750 to 2000), and I am also no longer young except in my outlook. And you can see my avatar is a two liter sedan, probably the only one in US. Besides that I have a few others, the most favorite my spider AR10204*00126. I have had perhaps 13 or so of these over the years. I have lost track.

What's in a name. On a couple other sites I use sz00147 (car+chassis no) and they probably don't get it. I came here early on and just thought I should be clear who I am. The avatar is just a defining detail. Cheers, George

Wanted to buy a factory black gtv,around 2004 the paint code was 901 nero so thats what i used when i also discovered the alfabb around the same time.Did not buy the car,unfortunately.Car sold out of texas to the midwest,black with pigskin interior,always hoped to see it on the bb never have.Oh yes,if someone by some weird fluke knows of this cars location i would love a chance to buy it now.......well we can daydream cant we.

I found a picture including me driving the '76 Spider along with a cone (pylon). Hence the name "Conedriver" for my competing in autocrosses.

Thanks I have always thought it would be nice to know this also.
Mine is my name too. As Papa mine came from meny moons ago from racing freinds and others who could not say my Greek name properly at events. so It has been PS or PSB for decads now.
My photo next to my name is because I make Tool watches and instruments. Heuer has always stood for performance and chronographs since the 1860s ...
