Alfa stepnose - a car to make money on?!

In the latest issue of Classic Cars, theres an article naming 10 cars to make money on, Alfa GT Junior/GTV1750 (stepnose) being the first on the list. The argument being that they are underrated and undervalued.
Thurgood is quoted: "You should buy one now before the unconverted throng finally wakes up to one of the most advanced and sophisticated classics undiscovered by the marketplace." Amen to that brother! So hold on to your stepnose, guys!

The rest are:
2. Ferrari 275GTB
3. Jaguar XJS
4. VW Golf GTI
5. Audi Quattro Turbo
6. Peugeot 204 GTI
7. Ferrari 365GTB/Daytona
8, Lotus Elan 26R
9. Mini 1275GT
10. Ford Capri RS2600

two cars which i think will go up a lot in value in the next 5-10 years: step nose gtv's and giulia spider's.

From the indications I've seen, both step-nose and smooth-nose GTVs are set to appreciate soon.

Methinks all Alfa values will go up

I agree with the article, I would like to amend that, ALL Alfas will be going up in value dramatically in the next few years. In large part I credit that trend with the advent of the internet, there are places[ such as this forum] where people can now get REAL information on the cars and help on vintage car maintainance and problem solving from a huge base of experienced Alfisti.
This will make buying and driving an older sports car much less scary to a huge new, ever evolving young performance car crowd.

I'd like to see one too! ASFIK, all 105 Coupes with an engine larger than a 1600 had smooth noses. Maybe a stepnose with a transplanted 1750?

some of the late 67 and 68 Giulia Sprint GT Veloce's had 1750's in them from the factory.
