Corporate Senior Sales Manager/ Training Coordinator for a Tire Wholesaler/ Distributor. Being a car nut in this field is loads of fun! I get to meet a broad range of people who have all sorts of interest in cars. One of my very good friends just supercharged his ZO6. Its hellaciously fast and gets into the triple digit speeds in the blink of an eye. Most people dont even give it a second look when he drives by. When I drive my alfa...... people wave and give me the thumbs up! Strange? In 10 years his car will be on some used car lot gathering dust. Mine will still be on the road getting the waves and smiles.

Aircraft Technician for AirTran Airways for 7 years. Several other airlines before that(all defunct). Work on B-717, DC-9 and 737. Mostly avionics, ie. autopilots, navigation, radar, communications.... teach pilots that it doesn't work when the switch is in the O F F position.
Pilot: The FDR light has been on the whole flight, we reset the circuit breaker and it came back on.
Mech: Well, did you try this FDR switch?
Pilot: Oh, damn!
Aircraft are are generally much easier to work with than cars.

I'm a Design Engineer in the Automotive branch in Sweden, you know, Saab and Volvo.
Also have done some work for GM and Ford.
The work so far mostly have been Design prototypes and a Concept show car for Volvo.
Cars:
Alfa Romeo 75 T -87, kinda original (so far )
Alfa Romeo Alfetta 1.8 -75, Heavily modified. (co-owned with a mate and his wife)
May have another 75 soon though. stay tuned...

My family has owned several franchises of a major car rental company for 35 years. Growing up was great with a father in the car biz as for he was always bringing home new cars. For the last sixteen years I have owned the same car rental company which has given me the opportunity to drive or own every car I dreamed of as a kid.
My only hope is that when my kid turns sixteen he shares the same passion for cars and I can start showing him the ropes of the car biz.

I am a pilot on furlough from a major airline. I am currently flying as Captain on a Learjet 60 for Delta Air Elite Business jets (on-demand charter operator). You can see pics of my airplane on www.airelite.com
I normally fly N215BX & N216BX but some of our other airplanes are on there as well.
I had a 1980 Spider Veloce in college and had to sell it to pay for some final flight training courses. Ever since then I've wanted to have an Alfa back in my life and last year that became a reality.

I'm an Air Traffic Controller at the Los Angeles Air Route Traffic Control Center ( LA Center ). Not a tower and not at an airport. Big building with no windows and lots of scopes. The pilots will already know this: after you leave the area immediately around the airport you're in the care of a center controller for the vast majority of your flight. We do the work and the swivelheads ( tower controllers ) get the attention.
Operating initials: KZ
Nickname: Kill Zone
In a facility of around 600 people I'm the only one with Alfas. One couple has a Fiat. One friend has had Citroens but currently has old Mercedes diesels. And one guy just got a Nash Metropolitan ! Otherwise a parking lot of conformity !
Ciao,
Dan
